Product Application：
SLV20 is a PVDC resin copolymer of vinylidene chloride and vinyl chloride (VDC/VC).
It can be blown into monolayer films through the "double bubble" process for biaxial orientation. The Extrusion resin must be blended with additives such as processing aids and pigments to make different colors of casing films. The films will be widely used for sausage and cheese packaging.
Packaging, storage and transportation:
It should be lightly loaded and unloaded during transportation. It is strictly prohibited to prevent collision, avoid rain, exposure and pollution. The product should be stored in a ventilated, dry and clean warehouse, and heavy pressure is strictly prohibited.

The above data is based on PVDC blown films of SLV20 grade resin, and the film is in 1.2 m wide with 40 um thickness.
Processing:
SLV20 is a kind of heat sensitive resin and will be carbonized if residence time takes too long in the extruder machine. Thermal degradation during melt processing will release hydrogen chloride (HCl) gas.
lf the resinsare affected with damp, the bubble will be broken and the yield rate will be much lower. The normal processing period will exceed 7 days, if the normal temperature is set in the qualified machine.
It is essential that:
(1) Regarding construction materials for the machine, we recommend that the parts in contact with the meltPVDC have high corrosion resistance and contain no catalytic materials, i.e. those made of high Ni alloys;,
(2) The residence time is minimized.
